About us

Founded by Emily Heslop, Culture One is driven by a deep passion and commitment to holistically integrating Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) with Wellbeing (DEIB+W) to create lasting impact within organisations.

As a late diagnosed ADHDer and mother of two neurodivergent children, I have a personal commitment to fostering inclusive environments where neurodiversity is recognised and valued.

At Culture One, we partner with organisations to build inclusive, equitable, and thriving workplace cultures. We consult with organisations passionate about making authentic and meaningful progress. Our strategic and empathetic approach focuses on comprehensive assessments and active listening.  We empower employees to lead change, guide leaders in fostering inclusive cultures, and co-create tailored strategies that align with your core values.

“Bridging the vast talent pool of highly skilled individuals with the critical need for diverse thinkers and humans, especially in todays world, is essential.”

Achieving sustainable change requires balancing a data-driven approach with human-centred strategies, creating environments where everyone can thrive.

  • "Culture One brought a genuine partnership approach to our Neuroinclusive Leadership workshops. As a people-first culture, neurodiversity is a priority for ORS, so it was important these sessions were valuable, relevant and highly practical for our organisation. Culture One ensured this was delivered. Emily co-designed the training personas and scenarios around our own workplace context, and facilitated open and honest discussions, deep leadership team reflection and genuine peer learning. Our managers came away with practical skills to support everyday ways of working with clear implementation plans. The bespoke workbook has already become a valuable resource for continued in-house learning. This has been a really positive start to our neurodiversity journey, and we would highly recommend working with Emily and Culture One if your company is either embarking or further developing your neurodiversity programmes."

  • "The workshop offered valuable insights into building more inclusive workplaces where neurodivergent individuals feel supported, valued, and empowered to thrive. It was a thought-provoking session that highlighted the importance of awareness, understanding, and inclusive leadership across all industries. At JDA Architects, we recognise the value that diverse perspectives bring to our teams, projects, and workplace culture. Continuing conversations around inclusion and neurodiversity is an important part of creating environments where everyone can do their best work. Thanks to Emily Heslop for delivering such an engaging and impactful workshop."

“Inclusivity means not only ‘we’re allowed to be there’, but we’re valued. Smart teams will do amazing things, but truly diverse teams will do impossible things.”
