Advancing Inclusive Cultures through Diversity, Neurodiversity and Wellbeing.

Our Purpose

I’m Emily Heslop and I founded Culture One with a deep passion and commitment to integrating Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) with Wellbeing (DEIB+W) to create greater impact within the organisations we partner with.

With over 15 years of strategic HR experience across technology, financial, professional services, real estate, and construction industries, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a passion for crafting strong people strategies that enable business success.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Wellbeing has been the foundation and core of my approach.

What We Do

We consult with organisations equally passionate about making authentic and meaningful progress toward truly inclusive workplaces where everyone can thrive. Achieving sustainable change requires balancing a data-driven approach with human-centred strategies.

  • Understanding the Landscape: We assess your current environment and establish internal and external benchmarks to track progress.

  • Active Listening: By listening to employees, we gain a deep understanding of their needs to thrive and bring this to life in your tailored strategy and roadmap.

  • Empowering Change: We co-create employee-led change programmes, fostering deeper allyship and employee development, and empowering champions of change throughout your organisation.

  • Leadership Coaching: We coach leaders to lead with authenticity and purpose, fostering a culture of inclusivity.

  • Strategic Action: We help you develop actionable strategies that represent the heart and people of your organisation, driving sustainable and impactful change.

Personal Passion

As a mother of two neurodivergent children, I am personally committed to creating inclusive workplaces where neurodivergent individuals can shine.

With 20% of the global population qualifying as neurodivergent and 88% of neurodivergent employees not disclosing at work due to fear of stigma, there is a pressing need for change. We spend a third of our lives at work, making it essential to create environments where everyone feels valued and included.

With a vast disconnected talent pool of highly skilled humans, and a critical need for diverse thinkers for innovation, creativity and problem solving in our organisations, bridging these two worlds has never been more crucial, now more so than ever before.
